Books That Touch The Heart

Happy Valentine’s Day
Welcome newcomers to my newsletter and happy valentine’s day! We all know where Valentine’s Day came from so I won’t bore you with the details. I will say that I’m excited for all of you as you get to put a little romance in your relationship. Too often we frown on romance, forgetting that God is the one who created romance. In the right text, romance is a wonderful thing. So find that special someone and go celebrate today.

Life on the Farm
As you can see from the pictures to the left, we stay quite busy with our animals. The top left one is kiki, our cat, in my lap (before I became so allergic that I go into anaphylactic shock) and one of her baby’s in my hand. Papa Yackie (Yackadoo our dog) is watching over them. He insisted on being there when they were born. The next one is me on the lawn mower that I mow twenty acres with and the poodle on top of it. Bottom left? Yackie taking care of our two little geese. Oh, and on the right? Yackadoo standing GUARD over the two tiny geese. Sigh. He’s quite obsessed with our animals. My daughter is holding one of the many Irises we grow. A two tone rust/purple. It’s beautiful. We also have tulips, hyacinths, mums, gladiolas…
Oh, and then there are our goats and chickens. To get an idea of what we have, search online for MacMurrary Hatchery and take a gander..ahem...at the varied chickens. We have most of them. 50 more coming in two weeks. Also, geese and then Spanish/Nubian goats. With our little girl due any day! Our little wether (Mr. Weather) broke through the window today into the chicken coop, broke out and feasted on alfalfa and goat feed until he was round as a barrel—letting out our NEW chickens that we bought full grown from someone! So, my husband, son and I were out chasing chickens. Anywhere from 2-5 are still missing (Hey, YOU try counting when they won’t stay still!).
We love it, needless to say.
So stay tuned as you hear of adventures coming up and watch for my latest sales, coming soon! For more info, visit my webpage: www.cherylwolverton.com

Well, Harlequin is at it again. They are re-releasing my books for collectors! In September, Best Christmas Ever will be re-released in a special issue. Then in December I have a 2 in 1 that will be coming out. It will be Best Christmas Ever with A Mother’s Love. If they don’t re-release them, they lose the rights to them. So, it makes sense, and makes money for me. And boy we could use it right now. After 1 1/2 years of my husband out of work, and bringing home only 25k a year as a teacher, that is definitely tight! But, you know what? God is in control so I can praise Him.
My book, A Wife For Ben was just released in hardback. To buy a copy, you can go to www.galegroup.com I think is the url. It’s Thorndike Books. And it is such a cute cover!
